Joanna is a graduate of the University of Queensland and holds a Master of Music degree together with a Bachelor of Music degree with first class honours. She was privileged to complete her piano performance studies under the tutelage of Dr Max Olding AM.
Joanna has worked across three different industries: music, medical imaging and graphic design. Her professional qualifications within these fields enable her to approach music from both an artistic and scientific background. As an active member of the music industry, Joanna works as an examiner for ANZCA Music Examinations within Australia and South East Asia, and operates a private piano teaching studio. Her adjudicating and performing accomplishments include eisteddfods and festivals in Queensland, Singapore and Malaysia.
Joanna also fulfils a busy schedule at Accent Publishing and Encore Music Education. She is the co-ordinator for the Encore Star International Online Competition, the host for Encore teacher events and the creator for online content that includes video production, video editing and concept design.
